Hello! Long time no see haha, I'm trying to get into blogging again as I find that easier to do that filming and editing oops. Today, I am doing a quick and easy Tumblr inspired Halloween treats post, I spent a few hours yesterday baking and creating these 'masterpieces'... Jokes, but I did actually spend a long time on them hahaha. I have 3 ideas for you to choose from, so I hope you enjoy reading this and if you do recreate any of these, let me know on Twitter - @alanajayne6 :)

White Chocolate Banana Ghosts:
These very simple ghosts are so cute and such a good idea for snacks at a Halloween party! This recipe makes 6 ghosts :)
Recipe:
3 bananas
200g white chocolate
18 milk chocolate drops
Method:
Peel bananas and cut in half. Melt the chocolate in the microwave or over a pan of boiling water until smooth. Either dip the banana in the chocolate for a full coverage or using a palette knife or spoon, spread the chocolate over the face of the bananas. Once covered, place 2 eyes and a mouth on the banana out of the chocolate chips. Leave to set in the fridge for a few hours.

Spooky Halloween Cupcakes:
So for this, I used a simple chocolate cupcake recipe and then decorated it with crushed up oreos and Halloweeny sweets!
Recipe for the cupcakes:
4 tbsp boiling water
40g cocoa powder
3 eggs
175g softened butter
165g caster sugar
115g self-raising flour
1 tsp baking powder
Recipe for the icing:
60g butter
30g cocoa powder
250g icing sugar
3 tbsp milk
Method:
- Preheat the oven to 200 Degrees (400 Fahrenheit, Gas Mark 4)
- Line two 12-hole muffin trays with paper cases (preferably Halloween style cases).
- Sift the cocoa powder into a bowl and pour in the boiling water. Mix together so it forms a thick paste. I found I had to add more water, so just make sure it becomes a paste and you'll be fine.
- Add the rest of the cake ingredients and mix with an electric whisk or wooden spoon.
- Pour the mixture into the paper case and put the cupcakes in the oven for about 10 minutes. Once cooked allow them to cool on a cooling rack.
- Whilst your cupcakes are in the oven, melt the butter and sift in the cocoa powder and icing a little at a time to ensure it looks glossy and is spreadable. If the icing is too thick, add milk until you get it to the consistency you want it to be.
- Use a palette knife to spread the icing onto the cooled cupcakes.
- Once you have iced the cakes, decorate them how you want. I crushed up chocolate creme Oreo's to make a soil sort of base and then placed coconut mushrooms and Halloween haribos on top.
